JytheBear began with a question: why are the gifts we give to professionals so... forgettable? Flowers that wilt. Vouchers that expire. Generic keepsakes that end up forgotten in a drawer.

We watched someone we loved walk across a stage in a black robe, having just passed their call-to-bar — and we could not find a single gift that honoured the weight of that moment. Nothing that said: I see everything you sacrificed to be standing here.

So we made one. A small bear, dressed in a black barrister's robe with a crisp white bib. We had the recipient's name on the robe. We gave it in a gift box. The reaction told us everything we needed to know.

Today, JytheBear crafts bears for lawyers, doctors, accountants, and every professional whose journey deserves to be celebrated with something as meaningful as the milestone itself.

Each JytheBear is assembled by hand. The plush bear body is selected for softness and quality. The costumes — robes, coats, suits — are sewn from real fabric, not printed material. The accessories, from the barrister's wig to the miniature stethoscope, are chosen for their authenticity and detail.

When you add a personalisation, the name is carefully applied to the costume before the bear is packed in its gift box. Every bear is quality-checked before it leaves our hands.
